GMAT Fundamental Training Class and Materials

The GMAT team holds an annual series of training courses:

• GMAT Fundamentals: introduction to GMAT, background, general-usage tutorials
• (proposed) Advanced GMAT: advanced tutorials, design & optimization techniques
• (proposed) GMAT Development: compiling, architecture, writing plugins, participating in development

Watch the blog or the gmat-info mailing list for announcements. Typically we will offer a free remote web-conferencing option for off-site folks.

GMAT Fundamentals

The most recent version of this course was held October 29, 2014periodic training classes and the material used in the training is available below.  The training material includes an overview of the GMAT project, software capabilities, how to use the graphical interface, and how to use the script language amont other topics. There are also walkthroughs of several tutorials including: How to Propagate an orbit, Design a Hohmann transfer, Target the B-plane, Design a Finite Maneuver, and Optimize a Multi-phase Trajectory.   The training material is available for self-guided use below, and you can contact us to discuss in-person training options.
